Looping.Tech handles and collects personal information about our clients, suppliers, partners, and website visitors. We want to give you the best possible experience and make sure you enjoy our products and services. To do this, we need to understand your habits so that we can deliver a unique and personalized service that is specifically tailored to you. The integrity and protection of your personal data is and will remain, extremely important to us. Therefore, we want to describe in a transparent way how we collect, store, share, and process your personal data, as well as describe your choice and control options regarding when and how you choose to share your personal data.

Looping.Tech is a website operated by MNK Tech, a company headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden. We provide services related to business consulting, brand identity and design, user experience (UX) research, web development, hosting and maintenance, machine learning and AI, search optimization, copywriting, and marketing campaigns. 3. About this policy
- Ensure that you understand what personal information we collect about you, the purposes of why we collect and process it, and who we share it with;

4. What is considered personal data?
Personal data includes all information related to an identified or identifiable physical person. What is important about the information is whether it can be linked individually or in combination with other information to a person. Typical personal data is a personal identity number (national identification number), name, address and location data, but in addition to this, an IP address, pictures of an individual, audio recordings of the individual, and the like can also be counted as personal data.
5. Your rights to choice and control
The General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) gives individuals certain rights regarding their personal data. Looping.Tech offers transparency and access controls that help users exercise the rights available under applicable law and with the restrictions that apply under law. Individual rights include:
Right of access
The right to be informed of, and request access to, the personal data we process about you. You have the right to request this information be sent to you free of charge up to once a year. To do this, contact our data controller.
Right to Correction
If you notice that personal information we hold on you is incorrect or incomplete, you have the right to ask us to correct or update the information.
Right to delete
You may request that we delete the personal data we have about you, this assumes that we have no legal requirement to retain this information.
Right of restriction (withdraw consent)
You always have the right to withdraw any consent you have given us at any time. This includes the right to request that we temporarily or permanently discontinue the processing of all or some of your personal data.
Right to object
You have the right to, at any time, object to us processing your personal data for a particular purpose. For instance, the right to object to your personal information being processed for direct marketing.
Right to data portability
In some cases, you have the right to request a copy of your personal data in electronic format and ask us to transmit this information for use in another party’s services.
Right not to be subject to automated decision making
You have the right not to be subject to any decisions based solely on automated decision making, which is when an algorithm makes a decision with no human input. This includes profiling, i.e. the automated processing of personal data to evaluate certain things about an individual.

6. Legal basis for processing personal data
Looping.Tech collects personal information to, for instance, contact, establish and/or maintain a business relationship. We always obtain your approval when we handle any form of your personal data or other information that can be used to identify who you are. The legal basis for collecting and processing the information is:
- That you have given your consent;
- A legitimate interest from both parties;
- That personal information is needed for us to live up to the agreements about our products and services we have with you as a client; or
- To be able to give feedback to you who have contacted us.
7. Categories of personal data we collect
In the table below, we describe what categories of personal data we collect and process, and for what purpose we collect them which is also identified at the time of collection. We save the information as long as it is necessary for the purposes of the processing and additionally, we have procedures in place to ensure that the collected data is not stored in more places than necessary.

We use this information to administer our promotions.||Until the competition is over and a winner has been selected.|
|Marketing purposes||When you have consented to us using your personal information for direct marketing we use it to make our marketing more relevant to you. The contact information we collect includes your name, e-mail, cookies, and IP-address as well as marketing preferences.||From when you have agreed to us storing your information for marketing purposes up to two (2) years.|
|Newsletter subscribers||If you choose to have our newsletter sent to you, we will save the email address and the full name you provided.||Until you unsubscribe from our newsletter.|
After that, we need to save the data for five to ten (5-10) years in accordance with Swedish law and legislation.
|Recruitment / Internship||In connection with the recruitment for a position at Looping.Tech and/or internship possibility, we handle and collect your personal data such as first and last name, contact information, education and employment history, work skills, desired work location, recommendations, your resume, and other associated information which is considered appropriate for the purpose of creating an effective onboarding process.||For as long as the position you have applied for is open.|
|User information||This is the personal information that you have provided or that we have collected so that you can register for and use our services. Depending on which service you signed up for, the information may include username, email address, phone number, date of birth, gender, address, and country. This is the personal information we request that is required to create your account.||Until you stop using our service or until the project has been completed.|
|Usage data||This information is the personal data automatically collected about you when you use our services. We collect this data to help improve our services and to give you a personalized experience by meeting your individual needs. This data includes information about how you interact with our emails, social media channels, and website(s) such as pages and files viewed, and searches made. We also get request information (speed, frequency, the site from which you linked to us (called “referring page”), the name of the website you choose to visit immediately after ours (called “exit page”), information about other websites you have recently visited, and the web browser you used (software used to browse the internet) including its type and language. It also includes other technical data such as operating system, system configuration information, identifiers such as cookies data and IP addresses, your device information and the device’s approximate geographic location, unique device identifiers, and the date/time stamps associated with your usage.||Our data retention period for storing historical usage data is 24 months, or two (2) years.|
|User Experience (UX) Research||Personal information is addressed and collected in connection to all stages involved in our user experience (UX) research process, including the development, testing, and management of the IT systems we work with. Participants in the UX research stages will always be informed before any of their personal data is stored and how it will be used. Participation is voluntary. The data includes personal information such as first name, last name, phone number, and e-mail address, as well as any video or voice recordings, and thoughts and beliefs related to the IT system or product that is tested.||Until the work process and the project is complete and finished. During data analysis, information is anonymous.|
We will delete your personal data at your request before these mentioned time frames, unless we are legally justified or required to retain certain personal information, such as in the following situations:
- If there is an unsolved problem attributable to your account, such as an outstanding credit regarding your account, an outstanding claim or in the event of a dispute, we will save the necessary personal information until the problem is resolved;
- If there is a legal, fiscal, audit, and/or accounting obligation for us to store personal data, we will store the necessary personal data for the period of time that is applicable in applicable law; and or,
- If necessary for our legitimate business interests, such as preventing fraud or maintaining security for our users.
8. How we protect and secure personal data
We are committed to protecting the privacy of our users and therefore, the security of personal information is important to us. We take appropriate administrative, technical, organizational, and physical measures to protect personal information from loss, misuse, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. This is to ensure the protection of any collected personal data but please note that no system is completely secure due to the open nature of the Internet. We have implemented various policies, including pseudonymization, encryption, and access and storage policies to protect against unauthorized access and unnecessary storage of personal data in our systems. These comprehensive security measures comply with the standard laws and regulations developed by the European Commission. These laws and regulations contain obligations for handling personal data as well as directions for issues such as the rights of the registered individuals and how any disputes surrounding the agreement should be resolved.
As for our clients with accounts that makes you access our services, these accounts require a username and password to log in to each service. Your password protects your user account, so we recommend that you use a strong password which is unique to that account, never share your password with anyone, restrict access to your computer and browser, and log out after using the service. Clients must keep their username and password secure, and never disclose it to a third party. Because the information in a client account is private, passwords are hashed, which means we cannot see a client’s password. We cannot resend forgotten passwords and will only provide clients with instructions on how to reset them.
9. Information sharing with third parties
We do not sell or otherwise disclose personal information for the purpose of earning money. However, we do collect personal data about you from various third parties and may disclose personal data to some third parties. These third-party sources vary over time but we always place high demands on our partners treating your personal information with the same integrity and security as we do, and under no circumstances allow partners or subcontractors to use shared personal information for purposes other than those defined by us. |Website activities tracking||We use Facebook’s pixel to track website activities that we can use for various marketing purposes and we use Google Analytics script to get statistics. We use these tools with the purpose of giving us better insights into how users use our website, for example, what articles and pages people like to read or what language you want to use when you visit us. To be able to differentiate visitors, the tool takes in your IP address and the date and time when a page was visited. This IP address is then encrypted before it is sent to us which means that we cannot see your IP addresses and thus do not receive any information that can be linked to you or anyone else.|
Additionally, we may share personal information as compelled or required by law, to law enforcement authorities or other government officials, to protect or defend our legal rights, or in order to investigate, prevent or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, or violations of our Terms and Use when using our website, services, or other applicable policies. We also share your personal information where we deem it necessary to safeguard our own, or a third party’s, legitimate interest in national security, law enforcement, litigation, a criminal investigation, protection of personal safety, or to prevent death or imminent bodily injury, provided that we believe that such interest does not violate your interests or fundamental rights and freedoms that require the protection of your personal information.

Looping.Tech website(s) may include social media features. These features may collect information about your IP address and which page you are visiting on our website, and they may set a cookie to make sure the feature functions properly. Any information, communications, or materials you submit to us via a social media platform is done at your own risk without any expectation of privacy. We cannot control the actions of other users of these platforms or the actions of the platforms themselves. Your interactions with those features and platforms are governed by the privacy policies of the companies that provide them.

Google or YouTube features on our website can read or store cookies on Google’s or YouTube’s behalf:

- Sign in to Google (allowing the user to sign in to their Google Account and interact with our site through that account)
